Gas Prices...

So, it has begun. The oil companies have started to raise the gas prices even more. Using the hurricane as a clever disguise to do so. I cannot express how much I detest the oil companies, the oil countries who screw us over time and again, and the dumb ass in the white house who has profitted from the oil industry.
I am sure there are those who will think this is not really something to be complaining about right now, but I frankly do not care. Yes the hurricane was awful. Yes people are dead/dying/injured/put out, etc.
I care right now about my family. That means I care about how much it will cost to fuel my car. How much this will jack up food prices, clothing, everything. And before I hear some bitching about conserving gas by getting a car that has great mileage, let me just say, we have one car, and one car only. We are not irresponsible about this, we are doing our part by not getting another car/truck/suv.
We are a one income family. That means all the price raising will effect us something awful, just as it will to every other family just making it. All the while the fucking OPECers are profitting, getting richer, wasting resources with their money.
And to those who might say that we have gas cheap in the states, so fucking what. Right now it is not cheap. I don't live in another country, I live here.
Like I said, this is me bitching about something that will directly influence my childs life. It means that we will be forced to cut back, and go without.
So to the major oil companies, let me just say this:
Fuck you.
