Can I just say how disappointed I am that my favorite Aussie did not get the globe? Course they didn't even give Paul Giamatti the globe for his part in Cinderella Man, so I don't know what I was expecting.
I do have to say he looked fine. Yummy fine. At least it looked like he was having fun, and I guess that makes for a cool night. I would so love to be able to go to one of those things once in my life. Sadly I just don't see this girl from Cincinnati doing anything like that!
On a totally different topic, I have yet again started to diet in earnest yet again. Because of the hormones I have to take, my metabolism must not exist, because I have gained way too much. So yesterday I started the whole diet part to this little plan of mine. I had:
One small bowl of healthy woman oatmeal
A banana
one serving of craisins
1 serving pineapple
one serving of cheese--string cheese
3-16 ounces bottles of water
homemade chicken fried rice made with brown rice, carrots, corn, a little egg, chicken breast, and a tad of olive oil.
1/2 a Hershey bar
2 cokes.
Overall I think I did alright. I know I really need to up my water intake, and not drink as much coke, but I have always had a weakness for coke, so I indulge. I am trying to get in as much fruit as possible, and as many veggies as possible. I am also trying to limit my caloric and fat intake, to sort of jumpstart things. Sometime this week I hope to be able to go out and an elliptical machine. It will be good for my knee, and help burn off some calories as well.
By my birthday I am hoping to have lost 10 pounds. By memorial day 20. Keep your fingers crossed.
:)
