It's Almost My Birthday!!!!!

It is almost my birthday!

Tomorrow at about 12:30 ish in the afternoon, I will officially be 31 years old. How bizarre. How cool. How utterly fan-fucking-tastic.

I love having birthdays. It means one, I have lived another 12 months, and two, I get presents. I am a big kid in some ways I guess, because I love getting presents. Always have, always will.

Of course tomorrow is also the dinner party. I have made soo much food for this, and Rob is making so much, and there is yet still more food to be made. I also have to finish cleaning the house, but there is not much left on that front.

The babysitter we had tried to get backed out on us, so we are trying to scramble around and find sitters for the kids of the people we invited. That was the plan. Have all the kidlets go to one house with a sitter, while the adults had a relaxing evening away from the kids and the pressures of having to leave early cause "Gramma gets tired and needs to take a laxative before bed, so we have to leave now, even though it is only 9:30."

Of course this plan has been shot to hell, along with one couple canceling on us a couple days ago, and another couple totally disregarding the start time.

Pisses me off that people have no respect for others and therefore think things like rsvping before the actual day and coming at the said start time are optional and quaint. The world is full of jack asses. Unfortunately, they seem to converge in the south western Ohio region, in heavy numbers.

Ah well, what can one do? Not a damn thing!
