The Dinner Party Revisited..............

Well, we had the dinner party last night. We also had a bunch of people cancel last minute on us.

It was like the party was not to be. Guess yesterday was not the optimal day for a dinner party full of debauchery. Heh.

So earlier in the week we had a couple cancel because of other obligations. Now little did I know they would be the only ones who would give us more then 3 hour notice as to their regrets. Yesterday we had 2 other couples call and cancel, and then we had one couple call to tell us they would be late, but they were sure they would just miss the appetizers. I informed them that would miss more then the appetizers, but to show up whenever. Then another couple called to let us know they would be late as well. Then the next door neighbors, who the wife is as close to my best friend in town as I can get, could not get a sitter, so the husband stayed home with the kids, and she came over.

So it was my brother and his s.o., a guy that Rob works with and his s.o, and the neighbor and us. So we ate and decided screw the rest of them. The rest can eat when they get there, and if the food is not so warm, so be it.

The scavenger hunt was a blast. I was on a team with the guy Rob works with. We won. Woo hoo! Rob makes up the hardest weirdest questions. So that we won, makes me feel really good. Maybe a bit smart.

Then after the scavenger hunt, we sat around and played a game called "What The F*ck?"
OMG this game is too funny. It asks all sort of out there questions. Google it.
We ended up chatting until 3 in the morning, and that is when the last people there left.

So I did not get to sleep until like 3:30, and woke at 9:30.

I am so tired!
