I have most of my shopping done, woohoo!
I have like 3 people left to buy for, and then I am done. Of course then the bills will come in, but I will bitch about those later :)
I ran to Bed, Bath, and Beyond this morning to get a foot spa for my father in law. This place looked like the new elderly hang out! There were so many old women there. They were all rude too. I guess I was on their turf! I can hear the headlines now:
"Elderly gang violence erupts as the oldie gang leaders take out the youngins' rival gang leader. Walkers and wheelchair's colliding in violence to stop the rival gang from encroaching on the elderly gangs turf. Full story at 10." It would have to be 10 for the oldies to be able to see it!
That would be so interesting. Can you imagine the shouting that would go on, the taunts?
The young gang would have to be sure to really shout, so the oldies could hear them, and the oldies would be shouting things like--
"When I was your age, I could whip your mammas ass with one hand tied behind my back. Now I can whip your ass with one crutch behind my back."
Wonder how many times you would hear--
"I've fallen, and I can't get up!"--or--
"My heart, my heart!"--or--
"My hip, I just broke my hip!"--or--
"I'll show you young man!" followed by an oldie grabbing someone by the ear.
It was just a really bizarre day. So many old people. So little time to argue with them!
