Mineral Makeup Part 2

Well on Saturday, I got the makeup I had ordered from Pure Luxe. OMG this is the bomb.

I have never in my life been one to wear makeup, except when going out, or at my wedding. I just don't want to have to deal with it, and I don't want to look like Bozo the clown did a make over for me. Lately however, because of the hormone replacement therapy I am on, I looked like I was a connect the dots puzzle. I had little red blemishes here and there, and if that isn't bad enough, I usually get one huge monstrosity around my nose. Of course this makes me look like a total dork.

I had been reading about how much people loved the mineral makeup's. However, I didn't want to have spend a fortune to try them, to see if I liked them. Pure Luxe is great for many reasons. One of which is that you can buy samples to try. And the sample prices are excellent. The regular sized products prices are excellent as well.

So I bought two shades of powder foundation, because unfortunately my skin is very light, but yellowish, so finding a foundation that doesn't stand out has been impossible. I also got the red remover powder, the eraser powder in two shades, the silicone eraser cream, several eye shadows, two samples of blush, and a finishing powder.

Wow! All of this came to under 50 bucks, which almost gave me a heart attack, but its actually not that bad. Oh yeah I also got some empty containers in case I wanted to blend two colors of something together.

Anyway, first off the red remover really works. OMG, it is amazing. The eraser powders, in both shades worked for me, so I combined them to make one shade, which works even better. It is amazing. It helps the under eye circles I have all the time. It just makes my skin look really good.

The foundations, both colors work for me!!! So I use the first one, then follow with the second. It sounds like a ton of stuff, but you only use a very tiny amount. It is great. No line of demarcation at my jaw, or ear, or hair line. It covers wonderfully!

Then the eyeshadows. They are so fantastic. I got a couple different colors, and they all work, and look great. You can a tiny bit of water to a tiny bit of the shadow, to make eyeliner. It works well also. Sadly I have to learn how to apply it better! But all of the colors are so cool. It is like having two or three colors in one jar! Again, you don't need but a tiny little bit.

I have used both blushes, and they are both really nice. Very subtle. Love them!

The finishing powder is awesome! It just gives the skin a nice glowing, almost dewey, fresh like appearance. Even being the complete novice with makeup that I am, I have done it three times since Saturday, and each time, it looks good! I don't look like I am wearing a mask. The only place you can really tell I am wearing anything is my eyes. And even there, it seems to make my eyes look nice and big, and compliments them well!

I literally do not feel it on my skin. The only thing I feel, is the moisturizer I use before hand. Even after all day, it still looks fresh.

I am an addict now. God help me, and my wallet!

You should go have a look! I promise you will not regret it. Well your face won't, your wallet might!!!
