Friday-Glorious Friday!

I am so happy it is Friday! Last day of spring break for the kids, or as I like to call it--Parental/Care giver Torture Week!

I have a pet theory that the schools do this so we appreciate the kids going back to school a bit more. Sure I could be wrong, and most likely am. But still, what a better way to get the parents who whine about school, to realize how nice it is?

Today I had to take Spenser to his mental illness evaluator aka the head shrinker. It was a trip. I had all the kids. Yep all 4. Had to go all the way to Cincinnati Children's Hospital, because that is where the doc is. All in all it was a good visit. The girls and Spenser were very well behaved. The two year old, notsomuch.

I swear that child has decided he would like to see how far he can push me over the edge. Thing is, he laughs at me when I try to correct certain behaviours. What the hell am I supposed to do then? He cracks me up, and I try so hard to make sure he doesn't see me laughing at him trying to weasel his way out of trouble.

Maybe it is the age of 2 that is causing him to behave this way. Maybe it is because in the middle of the night, body snatchers come out and take the sweet angelic two year boy, and replace him with the spawn of satan. Maybe aliens have abducted the real Mo, and left in his place a clone, but like in the movie Young Frankenstein, left him with the Abi Normal brain donor brain. Abnormal in the sense of he is too freakin smart for his own good. And if that wasn't bad enough, he knows how to work a crowd.

All I can say is that I so glad spring break is now a memory. Thank god. I will have about two more months of "peace". Then we have the torture that is summer break and trying to figure out what the hell to do with the kids so they stay entertained. Speaking of which, I need to get a play set, as ours I think was the very first one ever made, and so fell apart last summer. Literally. Fell apart. It was a death trap of swings and slides.

That and a new central ac unit for the house. Boy nothing I like better then shelling out several thousands of dollars on something that will still end up costing us money every freakin month. So if anyone out there has a new central air unit they would like to give away, I'll take it! Same with a play set. But I would rather a new ac unit. Not that that would ever happen in a million years, but you never know!
