Here's The Scoop...

Last week, I found a lump in my left breast.

Some would ask me what the big deal was, those people are obviously uninformed and stupid, but then that is just my opinion.

Anyway, about 8-9 years ago, my mother had breast cancer. Hers came about after a year of her being on hormone replacement therapy. It was estrogen fed and fast growing, but they, or should I say she caught it very early and I think only one lymph node was positive for cancer.

So I have a first hand history.

Add to that that I have been on birth control pills for at least 6-7 years, and now am on HRT, after a complete hysterectomy, and I am/was a scared person.

My left breast is incredibly sore. It sort of burns or sometimes has shooting pains all the way through the nipple.

It is weird.

Put all of that together and really, I was just so fucking freaked out, I couldn't breathe.

I went to my great gynecologist today, and he felt me up.

I mean felt around for the lump/bump/weirdness.

It moves.

So he is pretty optimistic that it is not the big C.

However, the pain in the boob thing is not normal, so to rule out that anything is wrong, I get to have my tit in the ringer on Thursday. Otherwise known as a mammogram.

So there you go. Part of the reason I was not so regular in posting. I didn't want to moan and piss about how whoa is me, and blah, blah, blah. I was not good company the past week, so I figured I would spare all the innocent people I could!
