Mineral Makeup....

I don't normally wear makeup. I mean, I do not even put on mascara, or eyeliner. I just don't wear any.

Yesterday, I was reading over at a place called The Isle Of Whack, (OMG they are so funny over there. Great bunch of ladies!), and there was a makeup thread. So I read what everyone had to say about the various different types of makeup they use, and one kind got repeated. Mineral makeup.

There is one brand that is ridonculously (my own word!!!) expensive. Then someone listed a site, and I went to it. A woman makes the makeup, and it is all very reasonable. I also like that they stress how you should wear makeup, only to enhance, not so much to impersonate a clown.

So I now am thinking I may get some, if for no other reason, then I want to look good whilst in LA. I have to figure out if I am warm skin tone, or cool. If I have a yellow cast, or pink. Yikes. Who knew all that went into getting makeup? Not me! Then I have to figure out the colors for eyes, and blushers, and get good makeup brushes.

I don't want to look like I am wearing makeup. I want to look like I am glowing, not literally glowing, like the glow in the dark crap. I want to look radiant. Or at least be able to cover any imperfections I may get. Let's face it, my nerves are going to be standing on end, so I am sure I will break out right before I go.

If anyone has anything to say, or suggest about mineral makeup, I would love to hear from you. I am clueless with makeup for the most part. I wore it in high school, so I am sure I didn't know what I was doing then. How many high schoolers do you know that know how to put makeup on so they look better? Not many!
