Chicky Noodle Soup

So had to take Rob to urgent care this afternoon. Poor thing has a bad, bad, bad ear infection, along with a sinus infection. Ugh.

He is obviously miserable. Just plain miserable.

So I did what any nurturing person would do, I made homemade chicky noodle soup! OMG it was so yummy. Just fan-fucking-tastic!

I also got his scripts as well. He is on something like 2 grams of amoxicillan a day, a huge decongestant that sucks the moisture from your bosy, and ear drops. Good lord we look like a pharmacy has exploded in our kitchen. That is of course where we keep the meds. It is the only place in the house where the boy wonder cannot get to it, unless he really tries.

So I "pimped" out my MySpace page. Heh. I said pimped. That somehow just sounds wrong to me, coming out of my mouth! Anyway, I think it looks pretty cool. I am addicted to changing it up. Course only one person ever sends me mail there (Hi K!). I see that people are in fact looking at my page, yet no one leaves comments. There is an eerie theme going on here. No one ever leaves comments on here or my MySpace page. Hmmm. I think it is a conspiracy. Nah, but sounds good!

And now for something completely different.

I love singing. Love it. Makes me feel good. I can actually carry a tune too. Which surprised a person I was corresponding with. They thought that I might have sung a particular song, sort of off key. Only because they couldn't hear me sing it, might I add. So when I corrected them, I think they were a bit surprised.

I had to tell this person that I had actually come in second at a high school competition oh so many years ago. Not just second in the school, but second in the state.

Of course this means bupkiss in the general scheme of things, but damn it I had my singing honor to defend. I actually don't often bring that up, because well it is pretty pathetic. But I could not let it go that one time. Heh.

I however have no desire to sing professionally. Rest assured, that is about as likely to happen, as me learning to act and getting a leading role opposite The Man. Not gonna happen in this life, and probably not in the next.
